At Woodwards Wax Melts, every melt is handcrafted in small batches. From choosing the perfect fragrance and measuring the wax, to carefully controlling temperatures and pouring each individual melt, every stage matters.
Wax melting is a science in itself. The wax needs to reach the right temperature so that it can properly blend with the fragrance oil. Too hot, and you risk affecting the fragrance; too cool, and you may not get the smooth finish and fragrance distribution you’re looking for. Once poured, the melts need time to cool, set and cure so the fragrance can fully develop within the wax.
And that means you can’t simply make a melt today and expect it to be at its best tomorrow. Good things take time.
Depending on the batch, each melt can take several hours from preparation to pouring, followed by curing time before it is ready to become part of your home. Every piece is checked, labelled and prepared with care before it makes its way to you.
But the science is only half of the story.
There’s also the fun of creating beautiful colours, choosing fragrances, experimenting with combinations and watching an idea become something real. Every scent has its own personality — from fresh and sweet to cosy, floral, fruity or completely magical.
And every single one is made with love.
